Just because you get water from the dispenser does not mean you should also get ice made in the ice maker. Fact is there are two side to the water control valve. One for the ice maker and the other for the water dispenser. Is there ice remaining inside the ice maker slots? The water dispenser tube is getting leaked form in between or its got loose from its actual line.Inspect water dispenser tube from water valve to the end of where the water is getting dispensed.

There should be a plastice hinge cover on the left top hinge on freezer door. Take it off and press the plug together firmly. Try that and let me know, Sea Breeze

Most likely your water control valve on rear of refrigerator has failed. Do this pour tap water into the ice maker make sure it is on and let the water freeze. If the ice drops and does not refill then the water control valve is the problem. If ice maker does not cycle then it is the ice maker. Ice maker bad or the ice maker water valve mounted on the same bracket as the dispenser is bad. These frigs are prone to bad ice makers after a few years.

So the dispenser is getting water. Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.

If the valves clicks but water doesn't get to ice maker the fill tube can be stopped up with ice.The water inlet valve on the back of the unit where the water supply comes in can have a slow leak and will cause ice to buildup and block the fill tube. Disconnect the ice maker line from the valve and watch to see if it has a slow drip. It doesn’t take much to eventually block the fill tube.

The temp should be around 5 degrees.

Check the ice maker see it is in the right position, maybe you can try pull out the ice maker and clean it and push it back, make sure the position is right.
