That is because the music you downloaded from iTunes is DRM-protected. If you want to play music downloaded from iTunes, you have to remove the DRM protection or download the DRM-free versions. If you are not able to access, there are a lot of option that let us download MP3 songs. I prefer using youtube to mp3 converter and then feeding that music into my device's playlist. It's better to search online for the variables and choose the best among them which one you feel convenient.

Seems ur prob is not how to download the songs but how to lead them into ur MP3. Generally, if u download songs from iTunes, the media format only match apple products such as iPod. Therefore why not download songs from other website which can save in ur local disk, then u can copy them n paste in ur MP3 directly.
