On Stereo receivers that are purchase brand new in today's era - the digital outputs to speakers if that's the case. first thing is to make sure wiring from speaker to back of unit has continuity from one end to the other end on both stands - if not sure about wiring or sound, try head phones to make sure sound is happening - good wire then next step is to make sure you read the destructions (instructions) - some manufacture who author instructions of hook up procedures are for technicians, not normal homeowners. so if you are up to hooking up wiring and still no sound , it may be settings on the front digital panels especially if it an AV system. I have help my neighbors figure there system out. they over buy a system with multi effects for them and its way over their heads - reminds me on the companies who mass produce cell phones these days with all the programming they have attached - most people only use 3 functions with the phonies 99 percent of the time - txt, email and phones calls - that's it- as i being in the engineering field some of the apps I use are 3 D now for structural use in methodology.
Turn the unit on
press a button for am or fm
select a station frequency
still not working take it back for a warranty check / replacement
AFTER you have read the operatiors manual
Unlike the budget stereo receivers now flooding the entry-level price points at dealers across the country, the Sherwood RX-4109 is designed and built in-house with the same quality and attention to detail we have been bringing to our audio gear for the last 50 years.
With 105 Watts RMS per channel, phono section, binding posts, a versatile remote control and switching for two pairs of loudspeakers, the only thing that bespeaks the word "budget" about the RX-4109 is its modest cost.
