My F32650 RCA tv won't come on, power light is green but no picture or sound.Thumping noise from back of unit while power is on.Have changed batteries, unplugged unit, unable to be helped by hotline as they no longer have info on that model in their system.

it could one of two things. The power supply is failing which is most common. Or the picture tube is gone. Both would most likely cost you more to fix than the TV is worth. Call around and get a few quotes. Good luck
Well, no sound no picture = power supply unit
Sound no picture= flyback
picture no sound =tuner/audio logic

You power supply is bad you replace it you got another new TV, with this digital conversion hitting I would rather advise you to get a nice flat panel and donate that one to Goodwill
I think that something has gone wrong on the power supply board. If you can check this for yourself otherwise find a competant technician. Hope this helps.
if you are having sound your problem is on the video circuit or related circuit.if no sound on video no power have your tech check the power supply and related circuit.good luck.
