My phone is unlocked but still cant get network coverage

Hi,

You will need to purchase an MTN Sim Card and insert it into the phone. If your phone is locked to your current network you will need to contact them directly to get the network unlock code to allow the phone to function with the MTN sim card.

Networks will respond positively if you inform them that you are currently in a country where you are unable to get coverage and you need the phone unlocked to allow you to use another network in this exceptional circumstance.

This is the best approach as online unlocking services are unreliable in my experience and you can end up bricking your phone altogether. Make direct contact with your home network and explain the situation as outlined. They are in possession of the correct network unlock.

If the phone is already unlocked to all networks it will work straight away on the MTN sim.

did you hit your phone?
try making 'Master Reset' (settings->master reset).if this doesn't work try flashing phone's firmware

your phone must be an imported one if not contact your mobile vendor and have an unlock

maybe u nees to unlock that phone!

unlocking it will give u the permission to use the whole sim cards of the world eevn the moroccans one hehe!!

your phone is a tri-band you need to find out if it is 850mhz or 900mhz that your phone carrier works

hmmm. I had a similar problem when I tried to use an hiphone i32triband (the seller said it was a cect168 quadband)...does your wireless network support g3 quadband? or your phone's band? and if so, is your phone at the proper setting? go to settings on your phone and make sure it's at your network providers' band setting. You can also go to this supremely useful website, GSM roaming-US, http://www.gsmworld.com/roaming/gsminfo/cou_us.shtml and find your network provider's details there. u gota sweet phone!!!

hi what happens when you put the sim card in is it new simcard and is the simcard registerd if its not registerd then you will have no network coverage as thie new simcard need registering
