Control panel dark No power. Will not start.
Hello Tammy, I appreciate your post!
From my understanding your Frigidaire dishwasher has no power. You may need to review your circuit breaker located inside of your home to assure that the breaker has not been flipped. If the breaker is operating properly it could be a possible issue with your control panel or wiring. I would recommend having a professional out to your home to assure a proper diagnosis has been completed on your dishwasher. I hope that this information is helpful to your dishwasher repair. -Matt

Next thing to look at--considering all the power is good--although that's what I'd check on again, would be the door switch. May have to remove the control panel cover or the door interior.
Try www.repairclinic.com if you need parts.
SOURCE: dishwasher won't go on
The electronic control is bad; probably not worth the expense to fix as the next thing to go is the touch-pad.
SOURCE: kitchenaid dishwasher, control panel is not
I don't know your technical ability, but there is a fuse located next to the control board inside the console, this is a good place to start. Kitchen Aid is good about putting tech sheets on the back of the kickplate and it should have wiring and diagnostic info there. Just be sure to put the sheets back so the next service tech to work on it will have them :)
SOURCE: we have Frigidaire 24 in. FDB1050REC dishwasher.
more than likely fuse is gone in plug. take dish washer out. change fuse in plug. if it doesnt work get extension lead and run it from a socket that definatly does work and plug washer into that. if nothing then its internal.

From what you have described your Frigidaire dishwasher is will not start and you have performed a reset. This could be a possible issue within your control panel or wiring harness. Since it could be an issue within the electric components I would suggest you speak with a professional technician, they would have the appropriate tools needed for proper disassembly of your dishwasher. Good Afternoon Angela, thanks for your post!
From the information you have provided the washing light flashes and it will not start on your Frigidaire dishwasher. This could be a possible issue with your keypad or control panel. I would suggest performing a reset on your dishwasher and you can do that by disconnecting power from your dishwasher for roughly ten minutes. Hey friend, thank you for your post!
From what you have described your Frigidaire dishwasher, FDB510CFS0, will start operating. This could be a possible issue with your control panel or door latch. If you door is not latching properly then it is not sending the appropriate signals to your control panel. This could cause an error code to populate. I would recommend performing a reset on your dishwasher and you can do that by disconnecting power from it for roughly ten minutes. Hopefully this is helpful to some degree. -Matt
I appreciate your inquiry, Bernadette Beharry!
From the information you have provided your Frigidaire dishwasher is displaying a power failure on the control panel. This could be a possible problem with your power source, control panel, or wiring issue. I understand that you have reviewed your power outlet. You may need to perform a reset on your dishwasher and to do that you can flip your household circuit breaker in the off position for roughly ten minutes. If the power source is fine and the reset does not correct the issue you may need to have a professional come out and repair your dishwasher. This will help to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt
Thank you for your post, Cathie Sanchez!
I understand that your Frigidaire dishwasher is displaying error code "S" and will not restart. The error code "S" usually stands for sanitize, this could also be a miscommunication within the control panel. I would recommend performing a reset on your dishwasher and you can do that by disconnecting power from your dishwasher for roughly ten minutes. If you continue to experience issues with the error code I would suggest having a professional technician out for proper diagnosis and repair. Hope this is helpful. -Matt
