SOURCE: I have a sylvania 32in replacement tv circuit board model srt2232s It doesn't turn on anymore , fuse is good , buzzing coming from a transistor I think any thoughts . Thanks

Hi there, sorry to hear. That "buzzing" you hear is most likely that power supply onboard, pulsing in a failure mode such as a current limit situation. Check for shorted rectifiers, and the common bad capacitors.

My 42 inch Sylvania hdtv turns off after I turn it on

Hi
All of the new HDTV sets these days use a switch mode power supply (SMPS) to delver the proper voltages to the associated circuits. If the set turns off on its own chances are its in the power supply area. Start by checking the connectors attached to the circuit board for physical signs damage on the circuit board. Possibly a blown fuse, open resistor etc.

Sylvania LC320SLX 32 in. LCD TV wont turn on

There is short circuited component/s at its main power supply regulator board. Check and replace them. It is best to replace the circuit board as card bassis, rather than trying to repair it.

Can't turn down the volume on my tv

Hello
The fault is due to the microswitches on the front panel. Just replace all of them at the same time. These switches can be located just behind the front pane push buttons. To access it you have to open the TV, and take out the printed circuit board out.

Pictures of two type of microswitches are given here. The shape may differ to tV to tv, but look this. may vary ins size and shape too.

Sylvania 6313CB 13" TV/VCR replacemnt remote

We have a Sylvania 6313CB TV/VCR combo. I bought a universal remote and the code would not work when I tried to program it to the "TV" button using all those possible codes listed in the books. So, on the universal remote, there was a button named "VCR" and when I programmed in the code "0000" all worked. This was a $6.00 universal remote named "One For All" we bought at the Big Lots store.
Specifically, here is what I did:
Turned TV on Pushed the "VCR" button and light blinked once Pushed and held the "set" button until it blinked twice Released the "set" button and entered the numbers "0000" Pushed the on/off button and it worked including volume, channel up/down and channel change by entering the channel number.

This could be a High- Voltage shutdown circuit problem. The reason it will stay on longer with a bright picture, is the high voltage is slightly reduced, not allowing the shutdown circuit to shut off the set. But I believe your problems to be in the shutdown circuit.

Problem with sylvania 6413TC 13"tv

This is a runaway high- voltage condition. When the TV turns on, the high voltage goes out of sight, causing the snapping or popping sound. Then the high voltage shutdown circuit takes hold, and the set cycles on and off repeatedly.
