The rewind button is stuck, how do I fix this?

You only want to reset if the projector doesn't turn on because it is a safety feature so the lamp does not explode. They get really hot and need to be replaced when due.
There is a reset button on the inside of the
RGB connection bay(look deep) for a reset button, hold it down until the lamp light turns blue.
If flipped over on it's back, you would see it straight down beyond the connectors. Of course this will reset to factory settings. let me hear how it goes good luck!

The bulb is not lighting.
Make sure the covers are going on correctly if I remember this one has an inner cover as well.
There is a little micro switch that needs to be operated by cover going on correctly.
also check the plugs / connectors are ok.

my projector caught fire yesterday as i attempted to replace my bulb. Did you fix yours?

manual above. Also check, the Thermal Fuse, some have a little "Reset" button, to restore them check that. Also work through the troubleshooting section.

1) Press the RESET button on projector for 3 seconds or remote control TIMER button for 3 seconds and display the total lamp used time. 2) Press the RESET button on projector or remote control MENU ON button during displaying the lamp used time. 3) Select the ?0? on the screen using the MENU ( ) button or DISK PAD.

need a ballast

It can definitely be fixed but let's try one thing before forking over few bucks to technician. Assuming it is a SLR camera, When you rewind, hold the rewind knob pushed in and try it. If you have a point and shoot, let me know which model. I'll be ready to assist when you respond either way.-James

There are 3 round knobs and 1 Autostart switch on the control panel. The key to rewinding this machine is by pushing the gray button down, while turning the Motor Knob to the "Run" position. Of course you'll need to start the original film back on its reel, directly. (Do not thread the film as you would normally.) BTW, you can show your films in reverse by using the Reverse button on the motor switch while its running. Hope this helps. Now, if I can find someone who can guide me in re-assembling my Elmo projector's lens, which I dis-assembled in order to clean the crud off the multi-lenses in the main lens unit itiself.

IT MUST HAVE THE CARD INSIDE THE PROJECTOR WHICH IS DETACHABLE LIKE MEMORY/PCMCIA OR ANY OTHER. CHECK USB ALSO.
