Hello,
Te blinking power light is a good indication of the blown power supply. If you want to try and fix it you can check out some pictures of what the bad capacitors look like at:
www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm
You can look at some of the repair guides e have posted and get a good idea how to dis-assembly your monitor to look for the bad caps. Just replace any that look like the pictues show and yo should be back up and running. If you would prefer to not do it yourself we do have a repair service for this issue. Email me and we can setup up a service ticket.
I hope this helps, If so please rate my solution.

This is a common problem on these monitors. There are a few (sometimes only one)
capacitors in the power supply and anywhere
from 2 to 6 on the main board that go bad.
The number on the main board depends on how long the monitor has been
having problems before it was serviced. The longer the wait, the more
capacitors will have gone bad.
The power and inverter boards are easy to repair, the main board is not.
As mentioned, it is a multi layer board so removing the old capacitors
and the old solder can be troublesome. I would suggest you have someone
experienced at soldering repair the main board.
