SOURCE: washer make a clicking noise

Zoobs, you could have something stuck under the agitator. The agitator will pull straight off. Grip it on each side and pull up hard, but don't hit yourself in the face. If that don't work, try slipping a belt under it and pull. Check for something caught under it. Another possibility could be the nylon suspension rod socket supports in the back. They will make a noise during agitation if they are dry. Put a little 3 in 1 oil to quite them down. Take the front panel off and check the pulley and belt, see if anything is out of whack. I also often find the motor support hitting the bottom panel during agitation making noise. Take the front panel off and observe during agitation. See if the support is striking the bottom. If so, just bend the bottom panel down. Catriver..post back.

SOURCE: maytag atlantis washer model# mav6451aww

Your first question I need a little more information. What kind of noise is it? Is it a squeek, or a roar, or like rocks in the tub? The second answer is more than likely a timer problem. This part (Maytag # 22004189) costs around $60 to $75 depending on where you live. Run that part number through eBay for special deals sometimes for those parts. Be sure you find out what that noise is first. If you have a transmission or bearing going bad, that could be a costly repair. Let me know what that noise sounds like, and we'll go from there. Jim

SOURCE: washing displaying OE error code

Just resolved same problem...it is the pressure switch aka water level sensor.  OE is overflow error.  Pressure switch is located under top cover on front right hand side.  It is round and has a rubber tube leading down to the drum and a electrical connection to the board.  Paid maytag man to diagnose/install cost me about $150

To hot. Don't let it set and run without the pressure handle being released. If you take your hand off the trigger for more than a couple minutes. Shut it down.

Hear a creaking noise under the dash on the driver side, it goes away if i accelerate or hit the brakes. it seems to be vacume related. could it possibly be the brake booster. It makes the noise constantly...

The exact nature of the creaking is important, and you have not provided enough info to narrow down the problem. The only "creaking" noise I have ever heard like that was coming from the front wheel. If it is going "creak -creak-creak" and changes as the car changes speed, I would check that.

Groaning sounds when draining

HI. You may have a problem with the water pump such as a frozen pulley or a broken impeller. This actual section of the pump is not designed to be repaired. You will need to replace the entire pump device, asap. Once replaced, the unit will operate properly, and without the noise.

Describe your Maytag Neptune MAH5500B Front.loader...Creaks when washing

Hello saber396
welcome

Here are some facts that may be the sounds!

You said. you noticed lately that I hear a creaking sound when it is in the wash cycle...Is that a motor problem?

Clicking/draining sounds
when washer is started will be
before the washer starts to fill, it will make a series of clicking noises to
check the door lock and do a quick drain.

***********************************************************

Could it be a rapid snapping and/or
popping sound from the rear
of the washer during spin.
means that
Water is being extracted through the drain holes in the spinner and is
hitting the outer tub before draining out of the machine.

Let me know if these help any one understand the sounds!

Groaning frig

BFULLAWAY had the answer, I believe. My ice maker does the same thing, groaning and creaking for a few seconds, stopping briefly, then starts creaking again. This is due to ice stuck inside and it will make no ice as a result. Usually I see a piece of ice protruding and knock it out. Happened recently, but I saw no ice. Took a cup of hot tap water (not boiling) and poured it into the compartments where cubes form. (Made sure ice tray was in place to catch water.) I banged on the side and a misshapened cube fell out. Creaking/groaning stopped and unit began to function normally.
