Might try installing a brand new embroidery needle in your machine.
Consult your owner's manual. Look in the Troubleshooting section for skipped stitches.
If you have just got the machine check in the handbook for troubleshooting tips. Also search online "troubleshooting singer futura ce150" .Then choose from the hits returned.

SOURCE: Singer futura ce-200 problem, pattern mis-alignment
I have had similar problems in the past.
Do you hear a noise from the embroidery unit when the misalignment occurs ? If so, I suspect that your issue may be that you have some resistance under the hoop. Is there extra material that may be rubbing on the machine or catching somewhere. I have found that if I use some masking tape to keep all of the extra material from hitting any other parts of the machine or dragging under the edge of the hoop this error does not occur. FYI: I also stopped using the "optimize stitch speed" option at the same time. I believe that material dragging was causing the problem, but I still wonder about the stitch speed optimization feature.

Blondbird41...
Sometimes when that happens there is a very small piece of thread stuck where your thread runs through the machine... check to make sure thats not the case ... I had that happen to me ...even look on top where the thread runs through....

I received an email back from Singer stating that it is not possible at this time to load the Futura software on a 64-bit system using Vista. I have emailed to ask whether it would load if the OS were XP, but I haven't heard back yet.
They said that they were working on finding a fix for this, but they aren't sure that they will since it's a hardware problem.
SOURCE: How do you use Singer Futura Editing Software?
Under submenu "Help" you can find different manuals and tutorials that describe all features. "Outline Edit" is intended for modifying the embroidery objects that were created by the native software (for example text blocks or AutoPunch Wizard result). With "Stitch Edit" you can modify specific stitches of any designs.
Main menu->Edit->Outline Edit and Stitch Edit
or two first buttons on the second line of the main toolbar or hotkeys "E" and "X".
