The best place to start with a stuck incline, is to re-calibrate your incline motor on the machine.

Each treadmill has different ways to do so, to find out how to get into calibration mode you will have to refer back to your manual.

My Reebok Jet 200 is stuck at an incline

If your Reebok Jet 200 treadmill is stuck at an incline and you are unable to lower the incline to the 0 position, there are a few things you can try to fix the problem:
  1. Check the incline motor and make sure that it is properly installed and functioning. If the motor is damaged or not functioning properly, it may be causing the incline to remain stuck.
  2. Check the incline control board and make sure that it is properly connected to the incline motor and other treadmill components. If the control board is damaged or not functioning properly, it may be causing the incline to remain stuck.
  3. Check the incline cable and make sure that it is not frayed or damaged. If the cable is damaged, it may be causing the incline to remain stuck.
  4. Check the treadmill's belt and make sure that it is properly aligned and tightened. If the belt is misaligned or loose, it may be causing the incline to remain stuck.
  5. Check the treadmill's power supply and make sure that it is properly connected and functioning. If the power supply is not functioning properly, it may be causing the incline to remain stuck.
If you have tried all of these steps and are still having issues with the incline on your Reebok Jet 200 treadmill remaining stuck, you may want to consult a professional for further assistance. A treadmill repair technician will be able to diagnose the problem and recommend the best course of action to fix it.

The incline motor makes a noise near (but not at) the lowest elevation when rising or lowering. The noise is somewhat metal-on-metal and only lasts 1 second or less. Is this a concern? Is there anything...

Incline Motor

Treadmill manufactures publish user's guides that contain running deck incline operation procedures and warnings. Typical guides include weight limits and conditions for use. Most treadmills are designed to manage up to 250 pounds of weight. Operating the incline with excessive weight on the deck or cycling through numerous incline setting in succession can tax the incline motor. In time, the normal sound of the incline motor may become louder when the feature is used inappropriately.

My proform tl 585 is stuck on an incline. when i try to lower the incline, the button does nothing. the incline could still raise, but obviously i'd rather lower it than raise it more.

Take the cover off and inspect the wiring. Make sure all the wires from the incline motor are connected.
If all the wires are connected and everything looks OK, try the incline again.
There are only 3 wires on the incline motor, red, white and black. This machine does not rely on any electronics to operate the incline. We know the motor works, because it will go up..Likely the switch in the console is defective.
To lower the incline, reverse the black and red wires, that will make up go down and vice versa.. If that doesn't work, the motor is likely defective.
The incline motor is available, around $110. To order find the model number on the frame of the treadmill and call the service number found there. Have your model number ready (starts with "P").
The console is no longer available.

Because you are hearing the lift motor making a noise, it sounds like the gears in the motor are bad. The fix is to replace the lift motor.

Beater bar not turning, making loud sound

This machine has a clutch assy. that slips and makes a loud noise
when something gets stuck in the roller brush. If you have nothing stuck in the roller brush chances are the clutch is worn and needs
replacing. Not an easy job and best done by a repair tech. You can find a video on youtube showing how to replace the clutch if you are
inclined to try to do it yourself.

1996 Ford E250 makes rough rumble noise on inclines or when speed

I'm thinking it may be the differential (rear end). With that many miles on the vehicle, it would not be uncommon for the u joints or differential to make noise due to increased tolerances from normal wear. I'd look into that. You may be surprized.

Good Luck and hope this helps.

My aerial is stuck on my XK8 - it goes up oK but not fully down?

If it makes a clicking sound when going up or if it is bent the aerial mast will need to be replaced, if there is no noise and it seams to work normally and just gets stuck then it needs cleaning. You can use wd40 and a cloth, with the aerial up, wipe upward (upward only, wiping down will push dirt into the mast and make it worse) spray the wd on the mast and the cloth and wipe upward, sent it down and repeat 2-3 times.
