What is your question about speaker grill?

Testimonial: "How do I remove it from my Panasonic projection TV. Shouldn't it just pull off? The model is PT47WX42."

Ah. Sorry, I don't have your set, and don't know. They may be glued or nailed in place.

Removing grill covers of Clarion 6.5" marine speakers

Put a piece of cardboard next to the speaker to protect your boats finish. Then use a flat bladed screw driver to gently pry the grill covers off. you may need to work your way around the perimeter, with a little bit of effort it will pop off. There will be 4 screws under the grills holding the speaker to the boat which are easy to remove.

How do I remove the cloth grill cover from the front of speaker?

Some speaker manufacturers design their boxes with non-removable front grills. Be thankful that you can remove the back because I've seen these sealed as well. Once inside, the speakers should be mounted from the inside (mounting screws on inside) compared to front mounted. IF they are not then either you're not using the proper method to remove the grill OR it's glued in place and will require breaking the glue bond to release the grill. One note to remember...non-removable grills can mean the manufacturer has something to hide.

If it is KP-51HW40 Sony TV
Speaker grill has 2 caps covering 2 screws at bottom of speaker grill.
Below is an image showing caps of speaker grill that might help you to open it.

Dented front speaker grills.

Usually a push fit , so gentle leverage with a knife blade perhaps.
But if the grill is metal then undoing the damage may not be worth the attempt because working the metal will almost certainly stretch it and make it worse.
