I no longer have access to the French, Spanish keyboard.
I no longer on my Dell Inspiron 15 access to French, Spanish keyboard as a choice on the right hand side access screen. I checked my control panel and it does show English, French & Spanish as a choice of languages why?

You can use Windows 8 charms to get to PC settings, by moving the cursor to the right hand side of the screen, and then pick pc settings. It is the cog-wheel symbol.
Then you can use up and down swipes on the menu to get to the control panel or the keyboard settings.
This might re-activate your keyboard.
Here is the problem if your computer is a Spanish version or was installed using a spanish version of windows you'll have to reinstall using a english windows disk.
Open Regional and Language Options by clicking the Start button png" alt="Picture of the Start button">, clicking Control Panel, clicking Clock, Language, and Region, and then clicking Regional and Language Options.
Click the Keyboards and Languages tab.
Under Display language, choose a language from the list, and then click OK.
I think you may have to ask Dell about this. Change bios to english - if available Have you tried using the language bar? Reloading software and selecting it to use English? The keyboard will be a prob if in french. Use an external keyboard to install software? English keyboard may be available for replacement.
