I have entered my correct password but my connection failed two or three times.
The simple answer is to use a wifi app that will scan all the devices connected to your router.if you switch on say a tablet or phone in different orders then the IP address assigned to each will keep changing.either scan using wifi scanner to find the one assigned to the fire stick or switch everything off including the router and then only switch on the router and fire stick.if the router is 192.168.0.1 then the fire stick becomes 192.168.0.2 it jumps the last number by one.also possible to go to the router server which is usually found on the router case and then view all the devices .then always fire up the router and the stick before connecting other devices.
Hi Roger you failed to mention if you have a WI FI router in your home or a WI FI access point. I am assuming the password you are referring to is the wireless WPA encryption or WPA2 or WEP encryption password on your wireless router.

If you are looking for IP address I suspect the firestick will get assigned an IP address automatically once it connects to your Wi FI network via the wireless router DHCP server. If you need the If you need the ip address it would be assigned by the dchp server in the router. If you log into the router from another pc and look at DHCP leases it should list the firesticks MAC address in the lease list along with the ip address assigned to it. If you have another pc on the wi fi network go to the dos prompt (windows os) and type in ipconfig and the default gateway ip address of the router will be displayed . Put this into an internet browser and it will log into your router as long as you know the admin user name and password. Also if you can log into the router you can look up the wi fi password and encryption method employed under wi fi security .
Dont give anyone your ip adress, contact your internet provider to fix problem,if you are using someone elses wifi you will have that problem, use your own
