IF CROSS THREADED YOU MAY HAVE TO USE TWO PIPE WRENCHES ONE TO HOLD FAUCET IN PLACE THE OTHER TO TRY TO UNSCREW IT MAYBE YOU COULD USE SOME WD40 OR SOME RUST REMOVEL SPAY TO GET IT LOOSE IF IT IS SO TIGHT THAT IT JUST WILL NOT BUDGE YOU MAY HAVE TO CUT IT AND BUY A WHOLE NEW FAUCET.

The have to unscrew the screen keeper from the faucet. The screen keeper is a threaded cylinder that extends out of the faucet about 3 mm. You need to use a "strap wrench". You can get a "strap wrench" at Ace, Sears, Walmart, Kmart, or Harbor Freight.

I have a Delta kitchen faucet model #467-SSSD-DST. The cold water flow and/or pressure is not adequate. The flow and pressure from the hot water side is fine. What may I do to fix my cold water problem?

Hi,
Take the handle off (set screw underneath)
Then turn the top off under the handle....make sure water is off...
then you will find a ball with the handle stem on it....note the position of it and pull it out...
under there are two wets of springs and rubber seats...
pull the right side out and check the hole for a blockage...(dirt or rust)
if none is visible, you may have to unhook the cold water supply hose
and then blow compressed air back through the hole to remove the blockage...
then reassemble...

I hope this will help please go to this web site for a downloadable parts link. If it is leaking from the spout replace the seats and springs to correct the problem. Turn water off and remove handle with a 1/8" allen wrench and remove retaining collar to access the ball assembly to remove the seats and springs.

The parts page on this link will give you a break down and hope this will help.

Im tryin to remove the ball stem #212 off my faucet?

Remove handle and on top it has a cap that has to be removed to access the ball it will require maybe a strap wrench or chanel locks with something on teeth to keep it from damaging top cap.

Remove cap and it will give you access to ball turn .

Delta 473 faucet very loose where it meets the granite

This is a view from the underside of our sink. Is this what you were talking about? The steel plate is W-shaped (upside down in this case) and has a single nut larger than 3/4". It's almost impossible to fit a wrench up there to tighten it.

The unit has a croosbar connecting the hot and cold water. How do you remove the crossbar to replace the faucet

Do we want to remove the faucet from the top of the sink?

First shut-off the water via the two valves under the sink. Then un-thread the hoses from the bottom of the sink. Sometimes it is possible to do with ordinary house tools but more than likely you will need to purchase a basin wrench for about $10. This wrench will allow you easy access to the bottom of the faucet.

Then, using the same wrench, un-thread the nut that is threaded on the same threads as the hose. This nut if probably pretty tight and will take some effort.

Replacing is the exact opposite except when replacing be sure to use plumbers putty on the bottom of the faucet as a means to keep water from running under the faucet base and ruining your cabinet.

Cross handle hansgrohe faucet I can't remove top piece

Use a rubber glove between the strap wrench and the fixture. It is a little monkey business but keeps the strap from slipping.
