There's not any warning in the display, but when I ask for a cup of coffee, the grinder is dead, doesn't do anything, but the process continues as if it had done it, and serves water. Could be some electronic problem? I have anmounted and cleaned de grinder.
Juani, can you use ground coffee in your machine. Then go and find the grinder and put some coffee beans in and grind them.
while enjoying your coffee read the user manual for the coffee machine and find out what the trouble is. If you can't find the manual, you can get it here Free User Manuals and Owners Guides ManualsOnline com

You need to open the grinder, it`s probably packed with old fine powdered coffee that blocks the outlet. Clean this out and try again. Since it works normal when you use pre-ground coffee, there shouldn`t be any problems with any other parts.
Let me know if you want a description for have to open and clean the grinder.
Good luck!

I had the same problem, when I called their very helpful customer service, I was given these directions.
Take out the tray.
Inside the machine you can now see a flap hanging from the top.
Reach behind the flap, and you should feel a round object/filter. It has a little dimple sticking out in the middle.
Wipe the filter with a paper towel.
Put the machine back together, and voila you got your coffee brewing again.

I had a similar problem. I took off the side and rear cover, followed the hose that comes from the steam wand to the rear of hte unit. It enters a solenoid made by ACL Italy. I dismantled the solenoid unit by disconnecting the two hose ends, removing the relay, and unscrewing the plunger unit (vertical pipe). The plunger unit internals should move freely up and down like a piston in a cylinder , powered by a small spring. In my unit, this plunger was calcified and seized. I soaked it in boiling water and pressed on it gently several times and it unstuck. I put it all back together again and presto! Good luck

Hi,
This error is due to the coffee sludge built up in the system and needs you open the machine and clean it.
Note - Capresso recommends that you unplug the unit, wait a minute, and then
plug in and turn on. Try twice if the first time doesn't work. If you
still have a problem, call Capresso, and if your machine is under
warranty they will repair it for you free of charge and even pay
shipping both ways.
