How do I put batteries in a vivitar camera 378

From the instruction manual. This camera (as do most Vivitar cameras) takes two button batteries (LR44) at the bottom via the large screw off battery case. Make sure the batteries are placed in the correct way. The + of the batteries are the FLAT side of the battery, the bump is the - side. There should be a + or - pressed into the metal of the battery contacts.

Please charge the battery as below 2 methods: A. Charge with USB cable Insert the lithium battery into your camera correctly, and connect your camera to computer with USB cable. The red LED of camera will be light on indicating that your camera is in charging status, the LED willbe off when charge full.
B. Charge with supplied charger Your camera is supplied a compatible charger for you, you are only required to put the battery into charger and charge the lithium battery directly from electrical outlet

On the back of the camera, there are two sliders. The left hand one is the battery cover, and the other is the film back release.
Film advance is automatic when batteries are in it.
