You can record screen with a freeware tool called Screen Recorder. It's working well on Windows and the quality of the video is rather good and there is sound in it. Good luck!
Your Sony camcorder has internal hard-disk and records by default to this media. If this is full, you need to offload the recordings and free up some space on the disk. But to select the memory card you can do the following:
Selecting the recording media for movies: Touch (MENU) [Show others] [MEDIA SETTINGS] (under [MANAGE MEDIA] category) [MOVIE MEDIA SET]. The [MOVIE MEDIA SET] screen appears.
Touch the desired recording media.
Touch [YES] .OK The recording medium is now changed.
For still images: Selecting the recording media for photos Touch (MENU) [Show others] [MEDIA SETTINGS] (under [MANAGE MEDIA] category) [PHOTO MEDIA SET]. The [PHOTO MEDIA SET] screen appears.
Touch the desired recording media.
Touch [YES] .OK The recording medium is changed. Hope this helps, if more help needed, reply back.
Do not touch the microphone while recording. Sounds such as from pressing buttons will be recorded in the movie.
Press the movie button to shoot.the movie button is towards the right of the view lens. Recording starts. During recording, the elapsed recording time and [ Rec.] will display in the LCD monitor.
warning message pertains to some limitations of the hard disk of the camcorder. try to see if you can take still images.check hdd capacity by checking hdd set (touch p-menu>set-up>hdd set>OK>scroll to hdd info>OK) see if you still have space, if you don't, do HDD FORMAT. note:this will delete all your image files, so before you do this make sure you already transferred or backed-up your files in your computer. if issue persists, you may want to RESET (press button located near the right side of the disp/batt info buttons) the unit.make sure cam is on,press reset button using fine-tipped object like pin or paperclip. hope this helps. thanks :)
No credit card no download no gimicks and no survey this is a new web site i found resently, you can learn how to search and download on- line movie to your iPod or mp4 player or something like that. good luck! http://free-download-films.com/
It's the disc not the camera......I purchased a 3 pack of Sony DVD-R discs. I put the first disc in and it recorded once. The next time I tried to record I got the message "movie recording disabled". After calling Sony, searching online, resetting the camera and reading through the manual I replaced the disc with another from the 3 pack and it is recording just fine. I read that recording straight to DVD has many problems, and I believe this is one of them. SONY SUCKS!!!!!
