THE LED LIGHT FOR THE 'DOOR LOCKED' DOES NOT COME ON, ONCE YOU CLOSE THE DOOR AND AS A RESULT THE WASHING MACHINE ISN'T WORKING. IS THIS A PROBLEM WITH THE 'DOOR INTERLOCK' OR AN ELECTRICAL FAULT?

It may be the interlock but is more probably the control PCB in the fascia, this is not a DIY repair as it requires programming when replaced.

With my FX 1365W washing machine -When pressing start the red indicator light in the door doesnt come on and there are several cluncking sounds from behind the door lock followed by the beep code (4 beeps) for door not closed but the door is secured
