The error F08 indicates that the heater relay is stuck. This could be a fault with either the pressure switch, heater or the module connections.
Think you need to book a service call from engineer.

F02 indicates that the motor tacho has broken or become detached, this is to be found on the end of the motor shaft.

the belt has come off or broken on the back take lid or back panel off and have a look

Just had same problem with my hotpoint wmf740 showing h20 and found an easy fix was to clean out the detergent draw thoroughly and just behind it.to remove tray was easy and it does say to do this regulary in the manual

From the manual page 24: 'Door' is flashing in the display window... ?Shut the door firmly, until it clicks. The symbol should now go out. I suspect the door sensor has failed. It thinks you haven't closed the door, so it refuses to do anything at all. It's called a Door Interlock, it has a switch or sensor built into it. First try unplugging the washer for 60 seconds and plugging back in to try to reset the controller. (Dry hands only!) If the door interlock is a simple switch, you should be able to check it with an ohmmeter. I would check it first before buying a new one. The part number is HPTC00085194 or C00085194, here are a couple places you can buy one. You can also find them on ebay. hi, has the seal been replaced?if not use an old tooth brush and clean it with tooth paste it will clean off the mould, if the seal has been replaced check around the rim for a drain holle it may have been fitted wrong, some dont have drain holes hope this helps

F05 means that the pressure switch is jammed on full.
You need to check the pump is pumping out o/k, and if there is a filter, check and clean.

Try the following, may work: Press the Start/Cancel button together until all the console Led's illuminate

1. Press both Start/Cancel and On/Off buttons together until 'd off' appears
2. Default screen should return. Switch off.
3. Wait for 2 minutes to try the door. If helped click.

Heating element needs to be replaced.
