the cartrige has become faulty or the wire strip that connects to the cartrige holder is comming out or a wire in the strip is broke , a new cartrige would then do the same thing
Press the reset button if they can correct that problem. Maybe you can used the not genuine cartridge on your printer or it could be not properly inserted your cartridge. Try to power off the printer and check your cartridge then power on it again.
It's worth repairing, That error on a Canon is saying that the printhead is bad, not your cartridges. The part number for your printhead is stamped on the side of the printhead could be QY6-0049-000 but I'm not sure.
