The refrigerator stop working

Hi,
Here is a tip that I wrote about the reasons why ice makers do not work.

shut off motors .....let it completely defrost,,,restart the fridge and STOP PACKING IT SO FULL allowing air to flow . if air can't flow freely, the ice maker stops and the freezer frosts up ,...causing the refrigerator side to not cool as well as it should.

the freezer side only works within certain parameters.

a new fridge is probibly needed. The sounds you heard was possibly the reeds in the compressor that were going bad. Good Luck

check if the in side light works and if it does then it is your thermostat.allso check the power supply to your frige

ok whats the light that you see? i need to know what the bars are and or your email and i can email you the list for the codes.

Have you noticed more frost in the freezer than usual? It sounds like you may have moisture building up and freezing around evaporator fan. The fan blade hitting ice will cause the buzzing until it stops it completely or the evaporator clogs with frost and blocks airflow. If you have frost on food in freezer, check the door seals and make sure nothing is keeping doors from closing completely if you release them about 6" from cabinet.
