Hi,

These are guesses as I don't have enough information like how long is the unit plugged in? Check outlet for voltage. Check unit for amp draw. Try another outlet, do you have the same issue? Best guess..Good Luck

SOURCE: My whirlpool refrigerator trips the main power

Pankaj, Do you have a ohm meter? Sounds like you have something shorting back. First take the meter to the cord. On the end of the cord, you should show no continuity from each male prong to the ground prong on the cord itself. If you show continuity, you have something shorting back. Then I would start with the compressor, Unplug the wires going to the overload and relay, make sure the units unpluged and meter the cord again. If it's ok, then the problem is in the overload and relay. Start there and let me know, if it still showing a short, then we will have to go to the controls, heater, and repeat the process until you find the culprit. Catriver.

Panasonic Dimension4 NN-C803 combination cooker is tripping the safety switch when I try to cook baked potatoes

It sounds like there may be an issue with your Panasonic Dimension4 NN-C803 combination cooker. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the ventilation grills and filters to make sure that they are not blocked or dirty. A blocked ventilation system can cause the safety switch to trip.
  2. Make sure that the cooker is not overloaded. If the oven or microwave are too full, it can cause the safety switch to trip.
  3. Check the power cord and outlet to make sure that the cooker is getting the correct power supply.
  4. Check the control panel for any error codes or messages that may indicate the cause of the issue.

House power tripped After power restore all the

You might try turning off power to it by flipping off the specific breaker that serves the unit. Leave it off for 2-3 minutes, turn it back on and see what you've got. If you have a manual, it could be there is a reset button, but I have no idea. . .

The dryer is not starting

Reset your dryer breaker just in case it may have tripped. If it did trip inspect your dryer receptacle. If that is fine and you have power, open the door and look carefully for the tiny lever that actuates the door switch. See if it clicks. If the lever is loose missing or no click I would say the switch is bad. If the door switch is fine I would next check the skinny white fuse on the blower housing for continuity. If open the dryer will not run. If the fuse is bad you gonna need to yank off the filter chute and clean it out. If the fuse is good the next thing to check would be the start button. Beyond that you would need to provide a model number because all whirlpool dryers are not made the same.

Hi,

There is a dead short in side the microwave... this is causing the breaker to trip...however you should also replace the breaker to the microwave, as that should trip before the MCB...unless both are tripping at the same time...

My fridge is tripping the power out in my house. do i need a new motor?

It might not be the motor, it could even be the door switch, but first unplug the fridge, disconnect the wires from the motor, insulate them, switch on and see if your house power trips out. If the house does not trip out it is the motor. It is still trips out, look at the wires to the switch and the light and also the thermostat. Good luck and remember to unplug the wall socket whenever checking any circuit.

Turned light on. Several minutes later the light

Your unit may employ a switching power supply and these have a tendency to cease operation without warning and servicing these may require training and a piece of specialized equipment.
With the unit unplugged, after an hour or two, it is safe to open the housing and check for an internal fuse which could have failed.
If typical, these will be in a tubular ceramic housing about 1 1/2" long and 1/4" in diameter and can be purchased at most hardware stores.

Wont start

If your washer doesn't seem to work at all, check these:

No power
Lid switch
No power Check to see whether power is getting to the washing machine. Is it plugged in? Has a fuse blown or is a circuit breaker tripped?

Lid switch If the lid switch is defective, your washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.

Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse.
