I am not so sure , because difference engine difference lamp.
Make sure that lamp same with spec in your TV set.

If cocusing teh projector is not working, try cleaning the lens. Sometimes dust is dislodged when replacing a lamp and coats the optics.

by pops? do you mean it explode? how many lamps? it could be the fan that supposed to be ventilating the lamp or it could be the the ballast, why the ballast because the ballast regulates the voltage in order the keep the lamp on, for ignition it sends around 15,000 volts after that it regulates the votage to a small amount of voltage around 5,000 so it could be sending the big amount of voltage all the time never regulates that or it could be regulating and then sending another big amount of voltage over and over until the lamp doesnt handle those changes.

any of these will work it don't have to be the same as the original, just replace the bulb from the holder.

It depends on what kind of bulb you purchased and where you purchased from. If you go to an authorized distributor like discount-merchant.com, then you're sure to get the OEM--in this case a newer Philips 100W-120W UHP lamp. If you buy from a cheap replacement store, then you're lamp can last anywhere from 1 month to 1 year.

That being said, it may be another component such as a ballast or color wheel. Do you hear sounds or smell anything funny? Those can be telling signs of what's wrong.

Installation is Quick and Easy:
In most cases, replacing your projection lamp is quick and easy. However, it is recommended that you consult your owner's manual for more detailed instructions:

Unplug your TV from your power outlet

Allow the lamp to cool for at least one (1) hour before replacing it

Remove the Lamp unit cover (Usually located at the rear of the television)

Unscrew the lamp housing unit

Remove the old lamp housing unit and discard

Screw in the new lamp housing unit

Place the cover back onto your TV unit Caution: Do NOT touch the bulb directly with your fingers.

some electronic parts dealers are now selling this part. the actual size of the tv is important to have the real size you need. But the real original part maybe only the manufacture can sell it to you

i found a new original lamp but still wont to find out if it is indeed only a 5 kv ignition most are 15-18kv did not have the customers set at my shop , they just brought in lamp assm.Next set in i'll find out.
