CLEAN ROLLER WITH GOOD CLEANER, ALSO IS THE PAPER HELD IN TIGHT, IF NOT THE PAPER PAN WITH ROLLERS UNDER THE PLATEN IS UNHOOKED, DIRTY OR THE PAPER RELEASE LEVER UPPER RIGHT MAY BE OUT OF POSITION.
The paper release lever may be in the release mode. try holding the
left platen knob and pulling lightly on the paper is should not allow
the paper to move freely, if it is ok try holding the left knob and
turning the right knob in the direction you would to turn the paper in
it may have come loose if so turn it all the way back in do not over
tighten it your machine does not click when the platen is turned it
uses electronics to hold the platen on line.
there is a little flip handle that you need to move back, this will make the paper get grabbed. It is probably silver and on the right side of the carriage (roller)
on your left hand with top of platen release that leaver and insert the paper from beyound near the platen then the same leaver release into old position and with forward the platen knob the paper will be feed up to your desiered position
Hi Good day!! Maybe you have a paper jam that cause your printer to alarm. To clear a rear-feed paper jam:
1. Turn off printer 2. Turn platen knob to back paper out of printer. Remove any ripped pieces of paper. 3. Reload paper, turn printer back on and press FF/LOAD button.
If your paper keeps jamming the chances are excellent that you have bits of paper stuck in the paper in the paper path. To eliminate this problem:
1. Turn off printer. 2. Use platen knob to back paper out of printer. 3. Remove the paper separator.
Thank you for using fixYa Don't forget to vote thanks!!
If it works on paper Then take a pice of 150 grit sandpaper and remove the glaze on the platen. After you will have to wipe the platen to get the black dust off.
There are a few possibilities.
first be sure the paper release lever on the top left side is to the rear, if it is push firmly down on the platen (blacl rubber roller) they do work themselves out. If the platen isn't turning you may have a board problem.
