The M7324 is a digital set, it will not work at home unless you have a system there also

SOURCE: our church has M7310 phone with 2 lines, line 1 use to have a dial tone but not now, line 2 still has a dial tone. How do I get a dial tone back in line 1, right now all it has is just a sssssssssshhh

Call a tech in that handles the system programming to check the line port if ok and/or call your carrier to report the line as being dead.

I have a BT advanced quad system and each phone is telling me Line Busy Calls cannot be made, and no dialling tone. BT engineer says no fault outside. What can I do?

check each phone make sure none of the handsets is holding up the line
eg someone did not end the call properly
When this happens the line will time out and you will get no dial tone. This is done to release the telephone switching unit at the telephone exchange . Once you find the handset that is not call ended . end the call and wait 90 seconds and try again.

After a bad storm now have no dial tone on phones, cannot make or take calls,

if you have more than one phone, unplug them all from the phone line then check one phone at a time plugging it in check for dial tone. if doesn't get dial tone unplug from phone line then try the next. I had one get zap and it stopped all phones from working. soon as bad one removed the other phones worked

Have purchased this producct plugged it in no ringtone no flashing to indicate incoming call have operational line with dialing tone, help please asap as only line into work

I am assuming that you can hear dial tone on the handset, and you can make calls on the phone. If this is correct, then I would recommend contacting BT and getting the phone replaced with one that works. http://www.bt.com/help/home/landline.html

I just change the phone on my cannon mx310 but cannot get a dialing tone on phone

I would check with your phone service provider to check for any fault on the line . I had the same problem with my phone and it was a fault with line . It was alright a couple of days later . The bt engineering team discovered it was a fault underground

Why no dialing tone

no dialing tone indicates an open line or an extension that has not been hung up properly. IF you have a corded phone then it may be in the cord (broken at the hand piece or at the base) On the technical side it may be from the wires in are not paired properly ( go google and check for phone line pairing) and on the financial side the account has not been paid

No Dial Tone from BT Diverse 7110 Single

Check that the volume on the handset is turned up, also replace the batteries or put in non-rechargeable ones to get the phone working at full capacity. If bought from Amazon you should be guaranteed for a year, not a month!

My BT studio telephones are not working. No dialing tone on receiver. Dialing in goes straight to answer phone. Incoming line has been checked by my service provider and confirmed as OK. I have tried my N0...

The main socket has an external socket and an internal socket. When I plugged the phone into the internal/ primary connection the service was resumed. There must be a fault between the 2 points . I will have to get a Telecoms engineer in to fix it
