The blade length is probably almost 100" , but I suggest you try to calculate the length , try this method Calculate Belt or Band Saw Blade Length VintageMachinery org

SOURCE: Porta Band saw blade jumps off

I had this problem on a used model 725 that I bought. Apparently the rubber tires on the drive wheels develop a bit of a memory after sitting for a while with tension on the blade. I tried cleaning the tires to no avail. Then I removed both tires, flipped them over and re-installed. Still not fixed. Then I put only one back to the original position and the problem was solved. Other than the frustration of trying several times, I was out nothing and I got quite proficient at taking the blade in and out. The saw has worked fine ever since. I hope this simple (and free) solution works for you.

SOURCE: manual or info on a rockwell 28380 14" band saw

I can't find one for the exact model number you have, but there are a lot of manuals for the same era bandsaws available as PDF downloads at this site. Perhaps another manual for a similar machine will help answer most of your questions, in lieu of the correct one...
Have a look around there, though, at both the Delta and Rockwell listings, as I just made a quick look to find yours and there might be something there somewhere.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

most scroll saws use a standard length blade with standard end fittings
try a good tool shop or wood working tools supplies for blades for your machine or any shop that sells wood working machinery

How long is the saw blade on a 12inch band saw

The manual says that it will support blade widths from 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch. You can use 80" or 80 1/2" band saw blade. I got my band saw blade on sawblade.com . I like them .

New blade tares threw the wood. its hard to push the wood threw the blade

Are you using a new band saw blade? Are you running on a correct speed. I suggest to change the blade. I got 201 Carbon blade from http://sawblade.com/ . Also, make sure you're in right speed so that the blade will make the cut. Don't feed it so hard, let the blade do the work.

My Delta Band Saw blade is to tight. I need less tension, because it is actually burning the wood....what to do?

What is your band saw machine? What type of blade are you using?
One of the methods that I've tried in applying right tension on my blade is by using Phil Thien's method . Another method is to tighten the blade and then pluck it like a guitar. The blade should produce a clear tone of a specific pitch, rather than a dull thud.
Check www.bandsawblog.com/blade-tension/ . Hope that helps.

I have trouble replacing the blade on my Porter and cable band saw plese help!

I might be able to help you if get a bit more specific. Replacing band-saw blades is pretty much the same basic thing for any stationary band-saw, and similar (but not really the same) for any hand-held type band-saw, but I don't know what kind of saw you have or what kind of trouble you are having. As a catch-all solution, you might try checking out a book on how to use band-saws at the library (or buy one on Amazon). These general kinds of how-to books are much more helpful than the user manuals that the manufacturers provide. Good luck.

I have a used bandsaw but i don't know what model

Band saws are measured by length and width of the blade so measure the length or just take it to the parts place and you should be able to get one of the same size unless its an old or off size no longer made but I dont see that being a problem. Try ebay for your measurements or even Grainger.

When cutting wood with band saw saw will cease up

This could have many causes...depending on the model of saw, the wood being cut, the blade you're using, etc. etc.
Check that the blade is correctly installed, up to tension, and sharp. Make sure the wheels run smoothly on their on, and under power. Check the horsepower of the motor, and make sure to keep the feed rate down within the motor's capacity. Finally, don't twist the work being cut to a smaller radius than the size blade will handle, or you will bind the blade in the cut.
If you are cutting wood with pitch or grain that is likely to be under tension, perhaps you need to insert a wedge into the cut to prevent the work from pinching the blade as it continues the cut.
I hope that leads to a solution. Sometimes all you can do is feed slowly and be patient...
