Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire dishwasher, model# FDB4315LFC2, starts and then stops, and flashes a "PF" code when it stops. The "PF" code is stating that there has been a power failure. There could be a possibility that your dishwasher is losing power mid-cycle. I suggest checking your home's circuit breaker, the wiring to your dishwasher, and if you have a cut-off switch, checking that as well. I also suggest resetting your appliance, by shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 20-30 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. If further troubleshooting is needed, I ask that you please let me know the error codes displayed on your appliance. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

SOURCE: My dishwasher runs for bour 10 minutes. Then stops, and flashes PF?

Mine does the same thing. I'm confident that the problem lies in the "computer" which is essentially the buttons for selecting the various wash cycles. That strip is basically a thick band with adhesive on the back by which it is glued to the top of the dishwasher door. There are wires connected to it. The wires run down into the door and connect to a terminal that is built into the door. The inside door panel must be removed to install a new button strip or "computer." Mine was replaced twice in the first year. Now it is three years old and needs to be replaced again. I'm going to look around on the net to see if I can find one.

Frigidaire dishwasher pf dims and stops

Hello Colton Rawlings, thank you for your post!

Based off what you are describing "PF" stands for power failure on a Frigidaire dishwasher. If the lights are dimming then your appliance flashes "PF" it could possibly be an issue within your panel or your appliance is not getting enough power to it. I would recommend contacting a professional to come and diagnose your appliance properly. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Flashing pf

pf indicates power failure, even a slight glitch in the power can cause this. If stop/clear does not clear the fault, unplug the unit for a few mins. and plug back in. pf may reappear, again press stop/clear, this should clear the error at this point if it had reappeared. if not then further investigation will need to be done.
Thanks for using Fix Ya, please take the time to rate this solution
