Seeking replacement lamp

I have a Braun slide projector that needs a replacement lamp. The previous lamp was a BOFA 250v-300watt globe. Can you please advise me where I can obtain a replacement? None of the projectors look like mine.

Try Bulbman.com or Bulbs.com or the retail chain called "Batteries PLUS Bulbs".
If they don't stock them, they should be able to point you toward someone who does. Good Luck !! Jim

the fan motor bearings are dried or gummed up and need cleaning and relubrication. not a good ides to run without the blower. the heat can damage slides and blow the lamp.

SOURCE: the projector drops the slide

The problem you have is related to the cycle contacts in the slide change mechanism. The contact is probably worn through and the projector will just continuously cycle. An experienced technician may be able to fix the problem temporarily (by gently bending the cycle contact to capture the clutch spring). Because of the age of the projector, very few parts remain. You may want to contact www.micro-tools.com to check if they have parts available for your projector. They may be able to help you locate an experienced tech. Sorry I can't help you more!! Best of Luck !

The motor struggles to turn the fan on my Braun Paximat N24 slide projector. Any ideas please?

My guess is the sleeve bearings in the fan motor need oil. I use teflon based oil.

I also need a Braun Paximat Lamp bulb 58.8394AMX

What is the description of the lamp? Braun's current catalog numbers for lamps are 80231 for the 150W 24V and 80232 for the 250W 24V. If you need a different lamp you should bring the old lamp to a camera store and let them look it up from the bulb manufacturers.

PLV-Z5 Projector, The change lamp light was flashing and closing the machine down straight after opening the slide, I changed the globe and it still does the same, I can not set/reset globe replacement...

It will continue to do this until you reset the counter. I'm not familiar with Sanyo projectors, so I'm not sure of the steps to do this. Some projectors have a sequence of buttons you push to reset it, others stay on long enought for you to go through the menu and reset it. Sometimes the new lamp comes with those instructions. If you don't still have those papers, or the owner's manual, you can go on-line to contact the manufacturer and they can tell you how to do it.

I'm having trouble changing the bulb in a Kodak Ektagraphic AF-1 slide projector. The bulb doesn't fit easily into the housing and I don't want to force it.

First of all, verify you are using the correct lamp: it should be a 120volt, 300watt, ANSI Code "ELH" lamp. (This may seem too basic, but you'd be surprised at the number of people who try the incorrect lamp).
If the lamp is correct and you can not insert it by pushing the base of the lamp into the terminal connector relatively easily, then chances are you have a build-up of material on one or both of the lamp contacts caused by arcing (arcing is caused by loose lamp terminal contacts). If this is the case, then you need to replace the lamp terminal assembly (the ceramic-like white piece the lamp terminals should slide into). You should still be able to buy a lamp terminal assembly for your Ektagraphic AF-1 from: www.micro-tools.com
Good Luck !!

Infocus LP725 Replacement Bulb

if you don't know exactly how many hours are on the new lamp, you can't be sure it works. since it's a mercury lamp, there will be no contenuity. check the lamp for cracks or clouding, not just burn marks.if the lamp is actually good, you may have a ballast issue.
