Inside the shell that holds the lamp assembly the bottom of the lamp power connection had shifted out of position in the bottom of its harness. I had to remove the projector top to firmly reseat the bottom power connector in the correct vertical position in the harness.

Sounds like the blue polarizer filter has been overheated due to old age. May need replacing.

If filters get dirty, changing bulb and factory reset wont work. Filters might need to be cleaned. If you can clean external dust filter and any air opening in the units, this will help. You can use vacuum hose to suction away all dust inside if you don't want to remove any filter to clean. Try that and let me know. Thanks
