This is likely due to a lack of airflow. Make sure that the air filter is clean and that there are no obstructions blocking the air intake or exhaust vents. If this does not resolve the issue, you may need to have a technician come out and inspect the unit for any other potential issues.

Ice buildup probably has switch inoperable, sounds as if your automatic defrost circuit is bad. This is most likely caused by bad defrost timer, defrost heater, or defrost thermostat. Google your model number and many of the parts places have videos to show you how to change as well as sell you the parts at very reasonable price.

Check the heater coil.

Gas valve solenoid have continuity? No continuity replace the valve
Getting 24 volts to the gas valve? No voltage from control board check fuse on control board.
Replace control board.
Any rollout switchs that are open and you won't get 24 volts to the gas valve.

O turned the drum by hand and it started running

Check the defrost timer, it may be stuck in the defrost mode. In defrost mode the heater will not come on unless the thermo disc is cold. This disc is attached to the coils close to where they come into the freezer.

drain is blocked probably with ice. take rear panel off, melt ice off with hairdryer and follow up with hot water till water flows away freely
