32" samsung hdtv flat panel: switches when you don't want it from tv to av/pc or av to tv/pc.

TV reverts to AV/PC or the reverse, from AV to TV/PC, when this is not desired. That is, if one is watching tv one wants to watch tv & not have the tv decide to have you watch a video (or go into PC mode).

Sometimes, TVs will switch to a new input when they sense a new signal on the new input. So if you're watching TV and someone turns on the AV device (or makes a change that alters or starts a video signal), the TV may switch over to that signal. This is a function of the TV. Some TVs allow you to disable this function, others do not. I looked in the manual and didn't notice where this could be enabled or disabled. If you want to only watch one source, make sure the other sources are turned off.

SOURCE: Samsung Source Options Are Missing

Is there any connection with S-Video?
If yes, you need to unplug S-Video first.

If not, better to check the Main Board.

I have a problem with my samsung lcd it shows me black and white screen i try to set it with manual shows component -pc instead of av -tv

Looks like you need to reread the manual & properly connect. you are plugged into the PC & not the AV input & this is most likely your issue.

Did you check the side of the television for the AV/Compsite ports (Yellow, Red, White)? A lot of models have these connections on the side of the TV. You did not list your model number so I cannot really check for you.

Dynex 32 in only shows black and white now

Black and White on a new setup would indicate you've plugged in AV or Component cables incorrectly. Match the colors up, be aware some Dynex models have AV connections on the SIDE of the TV. Don't just plug colors into random places. Failing that, check to see if your still inside 1 year manufacturer warranty or a best buy product protection plan. If not, seek out repair locally.

Can I cnnect my pc to view on my proscan 32 LCD

Well I do, I mean I often connect up my PC & TV via my TV OUT, on my Video card, I hook it into my 2.4GHz Video AV "Sender" I simply use the PC's, Composite Output & the Stereo Out, audio, feed it into the Transmitter, & connect the Receiver to the TV's Composite IN & AV IN. Works great.

Please check what input is being used in TV for VCR cable hook up at rear of TV. Select that AV input in TV by remote and enjoy.
