Error E52 on frigidaire affinity

Hello friend, thank you for your post!

Based off the information you have provided, I understand that your Frigidaire dryer is displaying an "E52" code and the dryer will not start. Typically an "E52" code stands for motor fault, I would attempt to perform a reset on your appliance by disconnecting power for roughly ten minutes. After the reset if you are still receiving the error code I would recommend having a professional come out to diagnose and repair the appliance. Best of luck. -Matt

Hello John Sterns - First, try resetting the unit dryer by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes. Restart unit and if it proves to be ineffective then typically this is something that a professional would need to diagnose. Since it is such a complex unit, there are multiple possible causes; faulty power cord, house wiring, defective control board, thermal limiter or door switch.

Error code 52, Dryer won't start

You have a motor error. Remove any load from dryer and check if drum turns freely by hand. Check L1 power supply voltage, motorwindings, and motor thermal protector (if motor thermal protector has tripped,it may take up to 30 minutes to reset). If error persist, replace the motor with this new one.

Please CALL Frigidare. We have had the same problem with our dryer and now the washer quit! Our set is only 3 years old! With all of the problems reported on the Internet there should be a recall on this set! They need to be informed! I am highly disappointed in the short lifespan of the Affinity Washer and Dryer. Dont know if I would purchase this brand ever again!

Hi i have a front load frigidare dryer and it displays the cycle time when you press start but it blinks back & fourth to loc & whatever cycle its then you press buttons and it beeps continuosly...

that's a lot of kids... according to the Frigidaire wiring diagram and codes list E68 means a key is stuck or bad board. You can enter function test mode and check which button is at fault. Hope this helps Tim
