My first thought is not enough air or coolant flow at idle.
I would check air flow thru the radiator and coolant flow from the water pump. Are you sure the cooling fan is coming on at 220 degrees ?

Cool air but not cold

Check compressor. You must be able to hold your hand on it without getting burned if it is too hot then the condenser stopped up
which affects freon flow
I would condemm it if thats the case.
Check Condensor air flow and temp out back.
Both coils may need cleaning.

If this was helpful please rate me.

Check petcock for fuel flow from the tank. if you have flow. Make sure your carb jets are free flowing. Check the degree range on your float springs. Make sure your carb airfilters are clean and free flowing, I order for a motor to operate it need fuel, fire, and air.

Where is mass air flow senser on a 1989 buick regal

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. The BUICK Regal Mass Air Flow sensor is usually installed in the intake air duct between the air filter and the throttle body mounted on the intake manifold. Also check the throttle body for mass air flow sensors location.
On mass air flow sensors with a sense wire, this wire can become contaminated with dust particles. These particles can be removed with automotive solvents that are safe for the use on mass air flow sensors. Before replacing the mass air flow sensor check for air leaks in the connecting air ducts and intake manifold. These leaks can cause similar symptoms as a malfunctioning mass air flow sensor.

Bad or contaminated BUICK Regal Mass Air Flow sensor can possibly cause a wide range of various vehicle drivability problems such as stalling, especially when the engine is cold, misfiring, poor acceleration, etc. In addition, a problem with the Mass Air Flow sensor often causes the "check engine" or "service engine soon" light in the vehicle instrument panel to illuminate.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Hello Experts, I have a 2004 Murano. The AC works fine, but after an hour running on a long trip for instance, everything seems to work fine but very little air flows. Please help.

Check for clogged blower filter, water may be staying inside the evaporator unit, the condensation frezzes the condensator and littel air or no air flows thru it, check the a/c fans for the evaporator functionality.

I have a Mitsubishi DLP 1080p TV with air flow problems

Hello ags98,

First I would suggest that you re-seat the bulb and then check the cooling fan, and air flow path. In addition to checking the fan make sure all air flow ingress and egress vent are unobstructed.

I hope this helps

Thank you,
