Its in the emergency flasher switch both control the same. The emergency flasher button is above the stereo you have to only remove the radio face plate to get at the switch. remove the red triangle button and put it on the new relay part, good luck,Gary

TURN SIGNAL RELAY REPLACEMENT

It's generally about 2 hours of labor plus the cost of the relat. The dealer will charge around $150/hour for labor and around $85 for the part. So, you're looking at around $400. You can do this yourself- it's not difficult but is time consuming to get the dash off (and back on). Here is a good write up on the process:

Sir,

The combination flasher unit for the turn signals and hazard flashers is located to the left of the floor console behind the lower steering colum trim cover.

Thanks

Just replace your hazard warning light relay. I had the same problem and mine was solved.

No turn signals, everything else works including hazards, took the box out under the dash where i was told the relay would be, and yes theres like 6 relays but they dont come off the board....

Actually there is a relay however it is not an individual part. The turn signal relay and the hazard relay are in the LCM (Lighting Control Module). This is expensive to replace however you should test the multi-function turn signal switch first as I am having the exact same problem with my 95 Crown Victoria LX. If you go to any parts store they will tell you that it is just a relay and sell you one for the newer Crown Victoria models. However in the 95 to about 2002 models they employed the bad idea of the LCM.Good luck.

My turn signals do not work on my 2000 Audi A4

HI, this is a defective flasher relay. you will need to replace this relay asap. this will fix your issue.

The flasher relay is located behind the lower left side dash panel/knee bar.
  1. Remove the lower dash panel/knee bar to access the flasher relay.
  2. Remove the relay from the electrical connector and replace as necessary.

I have a 2004 Audi TT. My signal lights come on but do not blink. Could this be a blown fuse?

No...the turn signal relay simply died. Its a cube shaped plug in type relay. Im willing to bet its located deep under the dash on the driver side. Some cars its under the hood, on top, near the firewall.

Hope this helps 8-)

Indicators not flashing on Audi TT

i believe the audi uses two relays for the turn signals and hazzard lights so it would appear the turn relay has failed. it should be located under the dash near the steer column.... seems to me me they have some shielding under the dash so it may be hard to get to.

Hazard Lights working. Indicators will not operate/flash

The Hazard and turn signals share the same relay module located in the dashboard behind the hazard switch. Remove the trim by prying from the sides (Either side of the Cup holder drawer and Card drawer). Pry the hazard switch assembly out from the dashboard. The relay is part of the hazard switch assembly.

Unclip the wiring terminal from the relay. replace with appropriate relay. Part costs under $50.00 delivered from Import Parts Specialists.
