I NEED THE MANUEL TO USE THE VIVCAM 4345 CAMERA

Was there a CD with the camera? To save paper, some companies put the manual on the CD.

I don't think it's a problem that can be solved with the manual but read it and see if it helps , if not you can send a email from the address above to see if Vivitar can help .

The solution for the future is to offload your pictures to some device, like a thumbdrive, that does not require constant power.

You do not need software really plug the camera in and It should be recognised as a new removable drive and Windows Scanner/Camera Wizard activates.

There are 2 probable solutions. 1. The images are "protected" by the camera & will show "locked" when you try to erase them. 2. The SD card in the camera is locked. The solution to 1 is to unlock the images in the playback menu. See page 45 of the manual. Solution 2 is to remove the card from the camera & check the "lock" slider that you can see on the side (although no all cards have this). Set the lock off.
