I have an Excalibur 1850 on my diesel truck and whenever I set the alarm it sets but won't sound when it's hit It sends it to the remote and the remote will vibrate but the truck won't sound at all How do I make the truck alarm go off Is this the silent alarm? How do I take it off And hitting the trunk button twice doesn't fix it Thanks in advance

If the passkey is messed up, there will be a light on the dash that says security, or have a picture of a car with a lock thru it. If there is no light when the key is turned forward, then its NOT a passkey problem.

there is no reset, whenever you turn the igntion key to on or unlock the door with the remote or the key the system is disramed, if it goes off like you have going on a sensor in the system is defective and you will need the dealer to scan the system for the fault.

It's possible. I used to work at a ford dealership. We had problems with cars not starting after the alarm had been set off. The best bet would be to hit the unlock button on the factory remote a few times and then try to start it. There is not any way, that I know of, to disarm the alarm without the remote. If it comes down to it then you could buy a remote and send me an e-mail so that I can give you directions of how to program it. [email protected]

If ithe alarm is factory when they will have to reset the alarm module with a scanner. If the alarm if aftermarket go to the control module and see if it has a reset button. FOBs (remote) can reset alarm. You Jeep is always set for break-in mode. The FOB sets this when ever the FOB is used to lock the doors. May be bad alarm module - Sorry - Good luck

factory alarms are passive, if it is working it sets itself when u exit the car. u don't need the remote for the alarm to work if it has a factory system. if u want to test if it is working lock the car with the power lock button and leave the window down, reach inside the car and open the door from the inside handle, the alarm will sound if it is working, to disarm just lock and unlock driver door with the key..

Again, the remotes can only be programmed by a Hyundai Technician (ETACS - Electronis Time and Alarm Control System).

Are you locking the car with the key fob? If so yo must unlock the car also with remote or alarm will sound when you unlock with key.Or someone may have set your system to passive arming.If this is the case you local saturn dealer will probally reset it back for you.Hope this helps

Look for a push button under the dash, should be black, turn key on and hit button.. should go into "valet mode".. hopefully you will be all set...
