YOu need a 3rd pary dvd player software installed, Like power dvd. Power DVD , Win Dvd etx, you should have gotten a copy of a player when you brought your computer, If you didnt or cant find it you can download one, many have trial versions or you can get a free one.
If you get a trial version of Power Dvd it automatically installs a dvd decoder. even if power dvd trial expiers and you cant use it anymore you will still be able to play the dvd's on windows media player cause the decoder will remain there and media player will have axcess to it :)
