1210s dell projector has all indicators lighting orange

Dell 1210s shows up as a PROJECTOR.
is it a PROJECTOR?> why not say what it is first.

and more. why must we guess , post your service tag data
and we can decode that in to what you have for sure.

1. tell what you own,. (laptop full name?> and number)
2. tell what the service tag shows.a way better answer !
3. tell what is on the screen, (even photos are amazing)
4. tell what OS you run for 10x better answers, windows WHAT>?

You should be able to press CNTR+ALT+Down Arrow or Up Arrow on the keyboard to rotate the screens image. You may also go into the projectors main menu to adjust. At the link below is the online manual for the 1210s projector.

Dell projectors are known for using extremely cheap display chips... Most probably the pixels are stuck you will have to send it to dell for service

If you mean an LED light that's orange, it could be an indicator that something's overheated. If you mean, on the screen, then you might check the physical connections of all cables to the projector. They may be loose or damaged.

I would suggest that it has a temperature or the lamp/ballast unit has a problem.
If the cooling fan is blocked then the optical block temperature sensor will shut it down. Make certain the filters are clean and all of the fans are running.
How old is the lamp? If it is quite old, more than 1000 hours, change the lamp, if it is newish then suspect the ballast unit.
The lamp will show black spots around the spark gap, a bit like a bad weld on two pieces of metal.
