I followed the instructions to register my new expandable handset but when I press the menu button followed by pressing the double 0's, the handset states INVALID . I removed the batteries, pressed the center row of buttons, which were all advised, nothing new happens. I can't seem to get passed the ''press LOCATOR'' message. The handset states that all hansets are registered. This handset would be the fourth for the base. I purchased two handsets, one has registered and one has not. Please help. Thank you.

It sounds like the base unit has other handsets registered to it. This is why you are getting the message "All Handsets Registered". You will need to reset the base unit in order to register your two handsets.
Hopefully this will help you. Put the phone in an easily accessible spot where you can plug it in and unplug it easily. Unplug the phone, wait a few seconds, and plug it in again. Now, unplug it again, and before you plug it in once more, hold down the Locator button as you plug it in and all lights should flash on. It should emit a long beep, which means it has reset. If not, you will need to unplug it once more and hold down the Locator button again as you plug it in.
Once it beeps, it should allow you to add your handsets. If there is nothing on the handset display, press the off button, menu, then 001. It should then read "Press LOCATOR on base for 3 sec, Then press ok". At this point, you will need to hold down the Locator button until it flashes before hitting okay. The handset will be registered when it reads "Handset 1 Registered".
If this doesn't work, I would call Panasonic.
Good Luck!
