I just purchased this kodak 52300 printer and I have no instruction manual
for it and I do not know how to operate - I can't print an envelope because of;no instructions I do not know how to scan and copy a picture, etc.etc.
Is there a manual available with instructions on how to use the printer?
My inks are both full but it will not print out black and the color is faded
We have the kodak 5300 printer and it has started printing the picture that does not look like it is suppose to. the skin color is not right and there is lines on the clothes that we have on . I have calibrated and cleaned it and it didnot help.
I am having problems with the colors being true when I print. I have already changed ink cartridges and they are three quarters full. I have cleaned the print head numerous times...basic and deep cleaned multiple times, I have also calibrated the printer according to directions twice. Nothing has helped. I have had this problem after printing multiple photos but cleaning the print head generally solves it and if it doesn't putting in new ink cartridges does. I don't know what else to try.. Help!

Kodak 5300 does not appear in the table for choosing manufacture or type of printer on my acer aspire with windows vista home premium.therefore cannot associate appropriate driver.

I have a Kodak 5300 printer and as it prints color not dlaock and white, but if I print caliberationsheep or print a demo sheet it prunts fine.
I just found my User Guide (a PDF file) today by going to Start, Programs, and then Kodak. It was in it's expanded menu.

To the person with the collor issues, TAKE IT BACK AND TRADE IT FOR A NEW ONE?
This is the best printer I have EVER owned by far. Cheap ink, wonderful photo printing, and fast too. I have owned HP and Lexmark in the past, and I loved my lexmark, but my Kodak Easyshare 5300 makes the previous ones look weak and expensive.
PS? You can pretty much find a manual for everything except children online. Get a clue and LOOK before posting on sites like this for such a simple and trivial matter? Jeez...
When you click on calibrate, the printer prints a calibration sheet that is then lined up on the scanner.
Go to the kodak website... they have the manal for download. The manual is also on the cd that came with the printer. Install the software (before connecting the printer) and it gives you an option to see the manual.
I have a 5300 printer ,ran of ink. But i don't know how to change the ink. I found where the ink go. but don't know how to take it out.
Paper size can be changed from the printing preferences. You can do this by clicking "start" then open "printers and faxes", right click on the Kodak printer and selct printing preferences. On the General tab of the printing preferences there is an option there to change the paper size. Open the drop down menu and select the paper size you want.

The User Guide is included with the printer software cd. If you have the kodak aio home center, the user guide is with that software. Or like the prev person stated, it's also on the website under product support for your printer.

Have just installed the 5300 and have no instructions on how to print checks.
I can get the proper orientation to print the envelope as portrait (short side at top) but the type prints as in landscape. In other words the type does not rotate with the envelope page. The envelope is too long to be inserted in the tray with the long side up position in order to use the type orientation.

Does not print. Have the printer heads. Print jobs are in the print queue.
Prints of pictures (color or b&w) do not turn out right. This of course happened before the machine stopped printing at all.

My prints started to fade and are tinted purple, I changed the cartridge but the pictures are still coming out this way.I wiped the cartridge base down but it didn't help. My yellow ink seems to have a dark spot on it. When I scan the picture it shows up in the window the way it should be.How can I fix this?

The printhead needs cleaning . After I print 15 or more pages the print fades. I though it was the cartage that came with it so I purchased a regular size cartage and the same thing happened. I haad another printer but this only happened afterseveral hundered copies. I have had this printer since february 9 and I would like to use it but I cannot afford to get a new cartage after 15 prints. My pictures have lines on one end of them when they come out of the printer. I have deep cleaned the printer several times and that has not helped. It is only on the 4x6 prints. It is on the end of the print that comes out 1st. Hope you can help.

Printer continues to print information from my Mac screen from past unsuccessful attmpts from the past and frequent blank paper comes out. Until the past few days the printer had worked. I select PRINT from file selection on computer and PRINT again when small box appears.
The printer is telling me that missing printhead, I have followed directions removed inks cannot switch it off, the red light is flashing and I cannot get anyfurther on with the installation.
