I have a Jenn-Air downdraft gas range. When the burner is lit I smell excess, unburned natural gas. This is not just at or just after start-up; it continues for the entire time the burner is lit. More details: I have replaced the grill burner unit with a second two-burner module. My problem is that when either the new or the original two-burner unit is inserted into the left side of the stove (the side that originally housed the grill unit) we get the excess gas smell. Is there too much gas coming to the left side? Is there some gas flow adjustment that I can make?

Why are the oven indicator lights flashing?
Answer:
When power is first supplied to the appliance, a flashing time will appear on the display.
If a flashing time appears at any other time, a power failure has occurred. Press Cancel, and reset the clock if needed.
When the oven is not in use, the display shows the time of day.
If the indicator lights keep flashing after you have tried to reset the controls, then you may need to contact service person.

Minimal 6" duct no more than 20 feet long and 90's count as 5 feet. 90's must not be closer than 18" this will meet local codes regarding the venting also an approved exhaust hood. (not a dryer vent)

took off the knob to the ignition system to clean and spray got onto the ignition under the dial and now the two front burners won't ignite unless I turn on one of the functional back burners then turn on the front burner. How do I repair this?

if u need just an electric burner 6" or 8" u could buy a whirlpool element it would work just fine take the part to a local parts place or if none available u could order like a mp15ya or a mp21ya or something similiar,, go to repairclinic.com and type those two part numbers in to see a picture .. then shopa round hope this helps
