    same problem... any solutions yet?

I have exacly the same problem. Reset removing cables and installing again. No success. Conected the power chord keeping the POWER button pressed, it looks like entering in stand-by mode ( I can see the red led in the front) but when pressing POWER button again we only hear the TURNING ON sound alarm, the screen blinks fast and then it shuts down.

Unit does not turn on, does not have a red light on the front. It's like no power is getting to the television.

I'm having the same exact problem. My father gave the tv to me. When I plug it in it does the same thing that everyone described. Then the next day after unplugging and plugging it back in a couple of more times; it came on and worked great for about a week and now it's doing it again and I can't get it to come back on. Does anyone know the cure for this?

Take it back to the store you bought it from.
contact Samsung about this model. and politely demand a recall/file class action claim, or for the manufacturer to describe this model as a 1-3year disposable LCD TV

My toshiba pro setellite L450-EZ1522 is failing to start up. when i press the power button only the fun comes on and just after afew seconds power cuts and the screen just remains blank.

When you plug in the power cord is there any lightswhatsoever on the laptop, where the plug goes in or on the AC Adapter of thepower cord?

When you press the power button do you hear fans running, hard drive spinning, lights on the computer, hear any beeps or lights constantly blinking, hear theDvD/CD drive click and the light on the drawer of the DvD/CD turn on for asecond or two? If so the laptop is trying to boot or may have booted, butthe screen is not showing for some reason.

Beep tones and blinking lights tells the technicians what is going on with thelaptop and why it is not booting. Most times it's a motherboard issuewhen you hear beeps or blinking lights continuous. Most times the problemis with the memory or Video Card. Count the Blinking Lights or Beeps and takenote of their pattern (1 Long or 1 Long followed by 2 Short).

Maybe your power cord is bad if you don't get anything to happen whatsoeverwhen you press the power button. And if that's true maybe you wasoperating off the battery the last time you had it on and since the power cordis bad, it was not charging the battery so the battery is drained and the powercord is bad.

Maybe you have a Static Charge Buildup. Remove the Power Cord, Remove theBattery, then Press and Hold the power button for 30seconds. After 30 seconds plug the power cord back in (leave the batteryout) and hit the power button to see if it boots. If it does, you can putthe battery back in and let it charge.Maybe your DC Power Jack which is where the power cord plugsinto the computer is bad. Take an ink pen and push the tip inside thejack and see if the little pin wiggles, if so the jack is bad. You'll have totake the laptop apart to fix it. Most times it is soldered onto themotherboard, so you will have to desolder the old and solder a new one.Maybe your memory is bad or the memory slot is bad.Remove the Power Cord, Remove the Battery, Remove the cover that houses the memory on the bottom of the laptop then remove one of thememory chips. Set the chip aside then try rebooting the computer. If it boots, then you know the memory chip you set aside is bad so mark an x onit with an ink pen. If it fails to boot then move the chip to the nextmemory slot and try rebooting. If it fails take the chip out and set itaside, then put the other chip in and try booting it in both slots. If itboots, just to verify that the chip set aside is bad, mark an x on it and putit into the open memory chip slot and try booting.

My Sony kp53hs10 turns on and has a picture but in afew seconds the screen goes blank and I see 7 blinking lights. Any ideas?

Good day!!!!

That problem is usually cause of faulty capacitors on the power supply section..

Just follow this instruction to fix your TV..

1. Open the back cover of your TV.
2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord..
3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors..
4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value..
5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter

Re: Battery Charger BC-45W I just purchased a Fuji JZ500 and the battery needed to be charged. When I plugged the charger into the power outlet, the indicator light (yellow) turned on but after a few...

Ok all mine had the same problem however problem has been solved! The power cord that plugs into the charger is a common cord you may have laying around the house. I switched the power cord to my charger and the dreaded blinking stopped! Its just a bad power cord to the charging unit! Hope this helps!

When I press the power switch, the green light comes on for about 2 seconds then it starts flashing red.

I'm afraid you need a new Power Supplies Unit. Just try an old trick first. Remove power cord from the back of PC. Press power button and keep it pressed for good 30 seconds. Then reconnect power cord and try to start as normal. If this don't work I'm afraid your PSU is dead. Good Luck

Unit has power from Plug to unit. Current flows all the way to switch and switch seems to be ok but unit will not turn on. Wife says it was cutting on and off when moving it around. Checked conntec

you either have a bad switch oir you have a short in the cord.plug it in and turn it on then move the cord around from top to bottom and see if it acts up..if not tap on the switch afew times and if it cuts out then the switch is bad.try to plug it in in a couple of different outlets and see if it does the same thing.it could be a bad outlet.plug it in one thats pretty tight to push in and pull out.

Red light comes on but the shuts off?

Mine did that and it really pised me of, sony told me to turn the power switch onthe back of the console on, when the stand by light comes on to push and hold the on button for at least 3 seconds until you hear a second set of beeps. This however didn`t work so I sent it back to Sony Australia and got it fixed up no worries.

Won't turn on

I bought two tvs and after about 3 months one of my tvs would not turn on; this tv was used more than the other one that is still working. I noticed that the power cord has a box that connects the two parts of the cords together, well the box gets very hot. I thought that the problem could be the power cord (may be it burned out) and not the tv. I switched power cords from the working tv to the nonworking tv and that sovled the problem.
