Hi. i have modem wireless
I assume bell is your old ISP, and primus is your new ISP.
Also i assume your wireless modem is not provided by bell.
If you are getting the login page of your old ISP (bell) it seems your bell LAN cable is still connected to your modem. If you are 100% that only primus is the only connected to your modem.
Try to run disk cleanup and remove all the temporary files in your computer.

2wire Modem blinking red dsl
if the speed was upgraded to ADSL 2 you need ADSL filters that match this. Check the model number of the ADSL filters and check the type of DSL is compatible with the Speed change.

2wire gateway
The modem is a Gateway 2Wire model 2701HG-D. Its function is to handle the high frequency data carrier that rides on top of your ordinary telephone wires to provide internet access. It has four ethernet ports and one USB port in addition to the telephone connector. QWest has said there have been problems with it and they recommend that you purchase a newer model for $100.
Ours failed yesterday with a bunch of green lamps glowing steadily without the normal blinking. The lady was about to go downtown to purchase a replacement when I figured out how to open the box with its four springy plastic bending tabs that you can see looking through the cooling apertures.
What I found was an internal operating voltage of about 4 volts which was well below the 5.1V printed on the power brick. When I ran the modem from a laboratory grade 5 volt source it seemed to work drawing about 1 ampere without any connection to the phone line.
Measuring the 5 volt supply that came with the modem I saw 5.2 volts but when loading it to 100 milliamps or so it dropped to 4 volts. It was definitely out of spec. Replacing the brick with another brand rated at 5 volts, 2.2 amperes solved the whole problem.
A failing power supply usually turns itself off but in this case measuring its output with a voltmeter would result in a conclusion that it was OK. Not so. You have to measure it under load which is a bit harder to do.
So. . . Don't rush to buy that new modem the way QWest says. Consider a replacement power brick. Positive 5 volts on the center of the connector with 2 amp capability. The original power converter used a three pin grounding plug for the AC source and the ground was connected to the negative side of the DC output. That's not normally done and does not seem to be necessary. It would make more sense to connect to the telephone company ground but that wire may not be available in the 6 pin telco socket.
Part numbers on the failed power brick
P/N 1000-500031-000
Part No GPUSW0512000GD1S
Input 100-120Vc.a 50/60Hz 0,15A
Output 5.1V DC 2A
Class 2 Power Unit
Made in China
And. . . after cracking the shell of the power brick the input aluminum electrolytic capacitor showed typical deformation of the round aluminum end. That kind of failure is very much a part of my life these days. Sigh.

How to change wirelss password
you will need to log into the router configuration with a computer or device that is connected to the router.
in your browser, browse to either 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.200.1, whichever works, and go to the wireless configuration from the screen that loads. from there you can navigate to the custom password or customer wifi key entry spot.

Intermitent DSL/Internet Connnectivity 2701 Router
Hii,
* If you can connect after disconnecting power and reconnecting, it means there is formation of static charge on modem
* Check whether there is any cordless phone or any other satellite devices next to the modem. If so, move the modem 10 feet away.
* If your modem is placed on carpet, please place it on wooden desk
For guest:
Do you see the power is also interrupted while loosing connection? If so try plugging the modem into different socket. Dont waste money for simple problems.
If this doesnt work, please dont rate me down, if it works, please rate me as fixya!!! lol...
Have a nice day!!!

2wire wireless router/modem
there is only one quick way to turn off your wireless internet access.
Turn off the modem or router if you are using it.
For your information, all home networks have their own access key, without which nobody can access it... it is normally printed at the bottom of the modem. 10 digit encryption key.
Was I helpful enough??
