Try www.mantis.com. You should be able to find the manual for download or request one from Mantis.

Assuming you have not already removed them make yourself a detailed sketch of how the belts are routed (your owner's manual should also show how how they go back on). Remove any guards or retainers (that keeps the belts from jumping off the pulleys) and put the new belts on just like the old ones. Reinstall any guards or retainers you removed. I know this may look complicated but if you take your time and figure out which belt does what it is not all that difficult. Hope this helps.

Where can I get parts for my TH 1002 TB tiller? I

remove the top cover. look inside while pulling rope briskly, you should see two dogs fly out and retract when the cord reaches its end. if not, check for dirt in the system and clean out. if no dogs, you will have to remove the system from the housing, be careful of the spring. check for any broken drive parts. also check flywheel cup for damage where the dogs come into contact with it.

Mantis has the owners manuals in pdf format available for download on its website. The tillers are here (I hope the link to the tiller group works...if not, just go to the main site and look for "owners manuals" link.

Also, you can call a number and get a representative who usually can help at the numbers listed there, find authorized service people if its not something you can do yourself, order parts and find detailed schematics in the owners manuals. My dog actually ate mine. LOL. But they are free, the owners manuals, unlike other places that charge you for them like they were a "part".

This type of pull starter design is very poor and fails often. Cheap parts and cheap design leads to poor performance and yet Troybuilt still doesn't give free parts or an upgraded design.
