Dell 755 tower front panel not detected - Dell Optiplex 755 Desktop Desktop Computer

Find your specific model on http://support.dell.com
First, look for a "chipset" device-driver. If it exists, install it first, and reboot.
Second, look for an Ethernet device-driver. Download it to a USB memory-stick, and move the memory-stick to the Dell, and install it.
Third, the order of the other device-drivers does not matter, but having a working Ethernet connection makes it much easier to download/install the other device-drivers, and also to run "Windows Update" to download more device-drivers directly from Microsoft's web-site.

This is generally in a few places. It should be on a sticker on the front or top of the tower. There will also be a sticker on the back side of the chasis. It's an alphanumeric string 7 characters long. The sticker on the back may have a bar code above and below it on the sticker. You can also get the service tag from BIOS in most cases.

You do not have Bluetooth on the Dell OptiPlex 755, but you can buy a "Bluetooth Dongle" very cheaply from the internet.
It is a plug and play you insert into the usb port and then you have Bluetooth.

Looking at the specifications for the Optiplex 755 line I'm seeing the highest power supply is in the minitower version at 305W. I can't find a document specifying the power requirements for the Radeon x1900, but most benchmark power consumption tests show the system pulls around 280 - 300W with that card installed.
The problem is either your specific Optiplex 755 configuration can't support the power requirements, I don't know if you have the MiniTower, Desktop Tower, Small Form Factor or Ultra Small Form Factor version of the sytem or the card is itself is bad.

Please check the connection of front panel led on the motherboard. If the connections are ok then the front panel led gets fused.

I don't know if you have done anything lately,ie; updates to board, cahnge of cables, etc. but first, try shutting down system, unplug your cable for video, unplug tour tower, plug tower back in and restart. If this doesn't work. You may want to try a system restore back to when you had a picture. Try this and let me know if this worked by adding comment or reply at the end of solution.

Hi,
The problem of blinking amaber light is usually caused due to a bad power supply on the computer. Open the system tower and reseat the biggest bunch pf cable connected to the motherboard. its titled P1 and it the biggest white connector. If the same doesnot resolve the problem you would have to replace the power supply on the motherboard.
