Can't figure out how to underline

Select both digits (click in front of the first number, then drag the mouse over to the end of the second number, unclick thin click the "underline" button. You didn't mention what software you're using, if you do I can give you better instructons.

It is within the word processing program not on the keyboard. Within the program there is probably a key combination that works. As an example, ctrl b generally creates bold, and ctl U underline but it depends on software not hardware to do these tricks.

Welcome to Fixya. The underlining of text when writing happens when the Predictive Text option is Enabled. When in text mode you can use the Hash Key (#) under number 9 Key to change the case of letters or prediction.

There are 3 ways to underline. Backspace and use the underscore key 2 left of the backspace, presscode and the U or I keys. If you are doing these things and underline isn't printing be sure the ribbon is fully latched down.

Somehow the left ALT key is stuck in a pressed position. Usually when you press left ALT and the letter underlined in a menu, it deploys that menu. In the File menu, the F is underlined and in the View menu it is the V that is underlined, hence the behavior.

Without actually seeing how your table is set up, I would suggest you check the following properties. Check to see if the height of cell is adequate for the size font you are using and that the text is horizontally centered within the table cell. It is possible that the underline is printing in the same location as the gridline.
