Deregistered phone Hi.... my phone deregistered itself and now it won't register again. The PIN doesn't work either...what do I do?

on some phones the beep refers to a voice mail message that has been left on your answerphone which will be left at the BT server, you can dial 1571 to retrieve the message. Here's what you do:

• pull the battery
• hold down * and # while reinserting battery
• wait for beep
• hit rightmost soft button (keys at top under the lcd screen)
  
• wait for 'erase complete' message
• hit end

If you are still looking for an answer on dereg of a handset, the manual says Menu - 0-0-2 then 3-3-5-OK then select the handset you want to cancel/deregister

One has to completely deregister all handset by pressing end and # keys together till complete de registration is shown on handset screen. if the de registration is not done as above stated method the hand set will not register will show connecting on hand set screen.

Here is the procedure as given to me by Panasonic Tech Support.

To DEREGISTER, using the handset you want to register, push MENU.....002.......335...and hit ok.
Then press the handset number you want to deregister (1 through 4). Don't worry if the handset says there is no link to base. This is because you just unregistered it so there will be no link.

To REGISTER, press and hold the locator button on the base unit until the green LED starts blinking. Then take the handset unit and press MENU.......001 and hit ok. Your unit should now be registered.
