Very low volume on all inputs

first thing,,,,make sure the speaker wires are not touching each other.
i dont think it would be a fuse because that would cut the sound completely.you could open the unit to check for a fuse or fuses.
if none of the above help, then take the unit to a tech.i suspect a blown channel which means a capacitor needs to be replaced.one more thing...swap speakers over to make sure your speaker isnt blown

Landrover freelander 04 - one door speaker stopped working a while ago. I've been living quite happily just using the other one. Now the other door speaker has gone too - no noise at all. the only sound is...

You either have blown circuits in the radio itself, or the wire bundle output to the speakers are broken/shorted out or the connector has come loose on the radio/speakers. The last usually doesn't happen however. If the speakers were blown...you would get something. Take your vehicle to a reputable house and have them check it out.

Need driver for Logitech Z-340 speaker system.

Sounds like the Subwoofer is blown. Unless you are handy with this stuff, you're outta luck unless you can find someone with the expertise to replace the blown speaker inside. This is not an easy job. If you are up for it you can follow the previously described method for opening it & removing the blown speaker. A suitable replacement can be found at http://www.rpelectronics.com/d03-0004-4-speaker-paper-cone-4-ohm.html Note that it will need to be mounted differently than the original which is mounted on the rear of the panel.

The replacement must be mounted on the front. It will need some sort of gasket (foam tape or something) between it & the panel. No soldering is required as push on connectors are used. Connect it up after installation and reassemble the unit.

Be aware that there is a possibility that the sub's amp is blown, in which case replacing the speaker is of no use. It would be good if you had some sort of speaker to connect to the terminals once you get the unit open and check that the amp is putting out before ordering a replacement speaker. Good luck!

Blown bass speaker, hoping I can buy a replacement.

  1. Contact Altec Lansing.
  2. twist the Speaker frame anticlockwise to open then unscrew the speaker then look for a similar/something close to it(size and amps) one in the local audio shop.
  3. Get it to some audio shop for a recoil and or diaphram change.
